Read, read, read! At Islaamic Visions we encourage parents to read to their infant and toddler children. Read these lovely books to them until they begin to read. This will build their language vocabulary and intellect. Whether you choose to read it as a nursery item, for home school, or as a bedtime story, these books will be your aid. In order to build believers, we the parents, must create the foundation at birth. This begins from the time the ‘Athan’ (call to prayer) is called into the right ear of the baby, to the rites of ‘Aqiqah (birth ceremony on the 7th day), followed by continuous reciting of Qur’an. The books we offer are a perfect way to teach Islamic concepts, ideals, mannerisms, and virtues to your children. The beautiful thing about children is that you can read the same story tens or hundreds of times; they love it. In addition, you can teach them to read at a young age (you do not have to wait until they go to first grade).
